01What we look at
Only official material from Rockstar Games: the trailers, the Extended Look, the official clips, the screenshots and the artwork published on rockstargames.com. No leaks, no fan footage, no rumors. An image or clip with no emergency vehicle in it is left out of the site.
So far that is 4 videos and 16 stills with at least one emergency vehicle.
02A first read of every frame
Videos are read at three frames per second, plus every scene change. An AI model (Claude, by Anthropic) screens every frame and every still for anything that could be an emergency vehicle, keeping a frame whenever in doubt. Each kept frame is then read in detail, whole and in four overlapping parts: the kind of vehicle, its body, livery, light bar, any legible text or vehicle number, and what it is doing.
That reading is a proposal, never a fact. Nothing it says reaches this site before a human has checked it.
03Sightings and vehicles
A sighting is one kind of vehicle in one scene: the same patrol car over several frames of a shot is one sighting, with the time of its clearest frame. IDs follow the source and never change: INC-T2-0004 is the fourth sighting of Trailer 2.
A vehicle is one livery on one body: every black and white city sedan with the same markings is one vehicle, however many cars and scenes show it. Vehicle codes read agency, body and order: VCP-SUV-01. When no agency name is legible, the code is UNK.
04Checked by a human
Every sighting and every vehicle on this site was reviewed by a person, frame by frame: accepted, corrected or rejected, split when two vehicles were merged, merged when one vehicle was split. Each report shows when it was checked.
05Names, agencies and places
- Until official names are known, a vehicle is named after the closest vehicle from earlier GTA games and the service it belongs to, marked likely model: Bravado Buffalo STX Pursuit, Vicebeach Police. With no close match, the name says what kind of vehicle it is, marked working name. The vehicle file adds a short description of what you see.
- Agencies are named only as they read on the vehicle. Without legible markings, a vehicle says so.
- A category based on livery or context rather than markings is labeled likely.
- Regions use Rockstar's six official names. A region that was proposed rather than official shows (likely) until a human confirms it.
06Likely inspiration
For each vehicle we note the real vehicle it resembles, the real agency livery it echoes, and the model from earlier GTA games it likely continues. These are guesses with a confidence, always labeled likely and Unconfirmed, never presented as fact.
Facts about earlier games come from gta.wiki, one source link per model. Fan claims about GTA VI vehicles are not used, because they mix the trailers with the 2022 leaks.
07Images and video
- Every game image is credited "Image: Rockstar Games" and links to its official page.
- Frames are published at web size. Close-ups are cut from the original frame and never enlarged.
- Videos are never copied: the official YouTube video loads only when you press play, from youtube-nocookie.com.
- The site never shows the GTA VI logo. Where an official image carries it, only the close-up of the vehicle is shown.
08How we write the news
News articles are signed by the GTA6 Emergency team, a small fan project run by a private individual. Each one is drafted from the sources below, then read, corrected and approved by a person before it is published.
- Rockstar Games' own material comes first: the trailers, the Extended Look, the official screenshots and the Newswire.
- Our catalog: every vehicle and sighting on this site, each one checked by a human.
- For earlier GTA games, documented vehicle facts, linked where we read them, and Rockstar's own images of those games.
- For press roundups, what gaming media published, summarized in our words and linked. We never copy their text or their images.
- Photos of real vehicles come from Wikimedia Commons, each with its author and license.
We never use leaks or unofficial footage, and a guess is always labeled as one. Every article links its sources where each fact appears, and lists them at the end.
09Mistakes and corrections
Spotted a vehicle we missed, a wrong category or a missing credit? Report a sighting or write to us. Corrections are filed like everything else: a human checks them first, and the changelog lists what changed.
