GTA VI is still seven months away, but a police car that looks straight out of its footage has just arrived in GTA Online. On April 2, Rockstar announced the Bravado Buffalo STX Pursuit, free for GTA+ members now and on sale to everyone from April 9. It comes with a Neighborhood Watch event built around law enforcement work, and a second police Buffalo, the Buffalo Cruiser.

Rockstar calls the car “the alpha of the LSPD’s vehicle fleet.” According to GTA Wiki, it is based on the Dodge Charger Pursuit sold from 2015 to 2023, the police version of the modern Charger. GTA V’s original Buffalo was built on the Charger generation before it.
Why it matters for GTA VI
That same Charger has already shown up in GTA VI material. The clearest example is the black and white Vicebeach Police cruiser in one of the screenshots Rockstar posted last May, parked at a night arrest under neon signs.

Put the two side by side and the resemblance goes beyond the body: both are black with white doors and a roof light bar. The white and green sedan that Lucia’s blast flips on the highway in Trailer 2 has the same kind of body as well.
None of this says what the GTA VI car will be called. Rockstar has not named a single vehicle in GTA VI, and a new GTA Online car is not a preview of the next game. Still, the LSPD in GTA Online and the Vicebeach Police in GTA VI now seem to drive the same kind of car, the model we had guessed for those GTA VI cruisers.
GTA VI comes out on November 19. Until then, every police car we have filed is in our vehicle files, each with the GTA model it most likely continues.
