Since December 2023, Rockstar has released four GTA VI videos on its video page, 99 screenshots, a set of artwork and a few short clips. We have gone through all of it, frame by frame and image by image, and filed every emergency vehicle we could find. Here is what the counts say, and what they cannot.
Where the sightings come from
The figures as a table
| Group | Sightings |
|---|---|
| Trailer 1 | 14 |
| Trailer 2 | 8 |
| Extended Look | 28 |
| Launch Trailer | 9 |
| Screenshots | 20 |
| Artwork | 7 |
| Clips | 3 |

The Extended Look leads by a distance, with 28 sightings, nearly a third of the catalog. The screenshots follow with 20, then the two first trailers.
Length explains much of that, and per minute the order flips. Trailer 1 packs 14 sightings into 90 seconds, about nine a minute. The Launch Trailer manages six a minute, Trailer 2 about three. The Extended Look averages one a minute over its 27 minutes, but 22 of its 28 come from a single chase of a little over two minutes.
Who we can name
The figures as a table
| Group | Sightings |
|---|---|
| Vicebeach Police | 22 |
| Vice City Police | 7 |
| Ocean | 3 |
| Vice-Dale Police | 3 |
| Leonida County Sheriff | 2 |
| NOOSE | 1 |
| Mariana County Sheriff | 1 |
| No legible agency | 50 |
Only names we could read count. Every other sighting is under no legible agency.
More than half the sightings, 50 of 89, carry no name we could read: the vehicle is too far, too blurred or seen from the wrong side. Of the rest, Vicebeach Police dominates with 22, almost all from the Extended Look’s downtown chase. The Vice City Police follow with 7, then the OCEAN lifeguards and the Vice-Dale Police with 3 each.
Two sheriff’s offices have names, Leonida County and Mariana County, with three sightings between them. Yet sheriff’s colors are everywhere: nine sightings are filed as sheriff’s vehicles, most with no county legible.

What kind of vehicle
The figures as a table
| Group | Vehicles |
|---|---|
| Law enforcement | 20 |
| Fire and rescue | 1 |
| Water | 7 |
| Medical | 1 |
| Air | 5 |
Each of the 34 vehicles counts once, in its family.
Law enforcement takes 20 of the 34 vehicles: city police, sheriffs, tactical units and one highway patrol car. Water comes next with seven, four police boats and three lifeguard vehicles, then five aircraft.
The rest of the emergency services barely appear. We have one ambulance, from the Extended Look’s first seconds, and one dark pickup by burning fields that may belong to a fire department. No fire engine has turned up in any official image yet.
Fifty of the 89 sightings carry no name we could read. The fleet is easy to see, much harder to identify.
Where in Leonida
The figures as a table
| Group | Sightings |
|---|---|
| Vice City | 56 |
| Grassrivers | 5 |
| Port Gellhorn | 4 |
| Ambrosia | 1 |
| Not enough to tell | 23 |
Regions come from Rockstar's gallery labels, or from the owner's review of each sighting.
Vice City holds 56 sightings, almost two thirds of the total. Grassrivers, the swamps, has five, all of them police closing in on someone. Port Gellhorn has four from Trailer 2, and Ambrosia one. Two of Rockstar’s six regions, the Leonida Keys and Mount Kalaga National Park, have no emergency vehicle on file at all. For 23 sightings, the image does not show enough to tell where it is.
The busiest vehicles
| Vehicle | Sightings | Seen in |
|---|---|---|
| Vicebeach Police cruiser | 13 | The Extended Look and a May 2025 screenshot |
| White and green sedan | 12 | Every kind of release |
| Police helicopter, AS350 style | 6 | Trailer 1, screenshots and artwork |
| Vicebeach Police pickup | 6 | The Extended Look |
| Vice City Police sedan | 5 | Trailer 1, Trailer 2, the Extended Look and the Launch Trailer |
| White SUV with a push bar | 4 | Trailer 2, the Extended Look, the Launch Trailer and a screenshot |
The white and green sedan is the most widespread: it appears in trailers, screenshots, the cover art and its animation, and the Extended Look. That makes it the closest thing GTA VI has to a signature police car, even though we have never read its force’s name on it.
What the numbers cannot tell
These counts measure what Rockstar chose to show, not the game. A car that fills 13 sightings may simply be the one a two-minute chase was built around. A region with none may well have its own police. On November 19 the real fleet arrives, and every number here gets checked against it. Until then, the full list is on our vehicle files.
