GTA VI has slipped again. In a short Newswire note on November 6, Rockstar moved the release to Thursday, November 19, 2026, and apologized for the longer wait. The studio says the extra months are for polish. It is the second delay: in May, Rockstar had already moved the game from 2025 to May 26, 2026.
With a year still to go, this is a good moment to take stock. Everything Rockstar has shown so far fits in two trailers and one set of images, all of which we have gone through frame by frame.
What we know
Leonida’s police come in layers. There is a county sheriff, in green and white, from Trailer 1. There are two city forces, Vice City Police and Vicebeach Police, and the Vice-Dale Police, a name a road sign in Trailer 2 also gives to a county. Lifeguards patrol the beaches on red quads lettered OCEAN, and an armored truck joined the highway chase in Trailer 2.

The cars look like a Florida police fleet of the last fifteen years. We see Crown Victoria shapes, older and newer Dodge Chargers, a Taurus-based sedan and Explorer-based SUVs, and helicopters that resemble the Eurocopter AS350. Most of them have a likely ancestor in GTA V, from the Vapid Stanier to the Police Maverick.
What we do not know
Rockstar has not named a single emergency vehicle. We have not seen an ambulance or a fire truck, only a dark pickup by burning fields that might belong to a fire department. And we do not know how any of this works in play: every sighting so far comes from a trailer cut or a posed image.
Those answers will have to wait for the next videos, and now for November 19, 2026. Until then, every sighting is in our files, with the second or the image it comes from.
